This was perfect! I hadn’t been to Paris in several years and booked this place without knowing much about the area. I could not have been happier with everything! The hotel is so close to everything, the area has plenty of restaurants, shops and cute cafés and bakeries. Also, if you like shopping for vintage clothing, there’s a couple stores on the same street! There are a couple small grocery stores/convenience stores right there (one on the same block, the other ones is bigger and is a block or two away). It is super easy to get to, there is 2 different metro stations on opposites sides of the block, which allows you to take whichever lines you need. To get to and from the airport, you can most definitely use RER and then transfer to metro, but Uber is also available (cost me 50€ rush hour). I do have to say, traffic in Paris is generally rough, so if you want faster transport, choose public. If you are carrying multiple suitcases, I wouldn’t recommend, as there are lots of stairs and walking inside the stations, so it can be complicated. Otherwise, super easy to use metro! The hotel room was as expected, European sized, so if you are looking for a suite, this is not the kind of hotel you want. The room is cute, cozy and comfortable. It has hot and cold air if needed (didn’t need either). The bathroom was small but fine for myself. Again, this is the expectation in most smaller hotels in Europe, so it was no surprise. Everything was super clean and they would come daily to give you fresh bottle of water and change towels and whatnot, when needed. The hotel offers breakfast, but I did not try it, as I wanted to walk around and find a cute café. Staff was super friendly and is at the front desk 24/7. Overall one of the best stays in Paris! Would 100% go back!

Very nice hotel, situated in a quiet but well connected street inside the city, in fact in about 20 minutes on foot you can reach Notre Dame, the Louvre Museum, the Orsay Museums... If you don't like walking, it has not one but two metro stops, the green one of Sevres-Babylone and the purple one of Rennes, both are well connected and will quickly take you anywhere in the city. In addition, in the surrounding area there are plenty of supermarkets, brasseries and boulangeries. The room, renovated and modern, had everything we needed for our stay. A special thanks to the amazing receptionist Aldja (I hope I wrote it right) who recommended us wonderful places where we could eat, places we otherwise would have never found on our own!

This is a very nice hotel. Of course, small room, but well-fitted. They put me in a different room when I commented on the elevator noise, very nice staff.

The hotel is in a somewhat quiet neighborhood, even though Bon Marche is right down the street, there are no other touristy attractions close by, so you get the sense of a real Parisian neighborhood. There is an excellent bakery right next door, we were able to do a take away pizza across the street and tons of other little bakeries, coffee shops and markets right on the same block or a very short walking distance. Although not walking distance to many of the tourist attractions, except for the Jardin de Luxembourg, the bus and Metro can take you to all the different parts of Paris very easily. There is a public bus close by that takes you directly to and from the Eiffel tower. I also liked the fact that the hotel was tastefully decorated. I find so many hotels in Paris have really garish décor, but the lobby and the rooms were decorated with an elevated décor. The staff was super friendly and helpful. I did have one strange encounter with one of the front desk people. My husband left a day earlier than me and then I walked back in the front desk man looked at me strangely. The maid was cleaning my room and I was working in the lobby and he finally came up to me asking if I had checked out. I told him no, I have a reservation for one more night. He thought I had left with my husband. It turns out that in Paris or maybe all of France, you are taxed per person per night, so he had to make sure that I was taxed for only one person that last night. Wish it had been explained from the beginning before the random questioning, but good to know for future stays in France!

The location is comfortably located in a neighborhood with many popular shops, patisseries, and picturesque Parisian cafés. We left the window open at night and were able to sleep without too much noise from the street. The room itself was comfortable, more spacious than I expected in Paris, and we even had a bathtub!

A lovely boutique hotel in a quiet area of St Placide. While not the most exciting area, the lack of sirens and crowds that can be found elsewhere in Paris was very nice. Location near Le Grande Epicure was very nice. The Prestige rooms are very comfortable offering more space than what you might normally find in Paris. The AC was very nice and worked well and the staff at the front desk were always very friendly and helpful. The metro stations were not far and a Bolt to Montparnasse station cost about 12 euros on a very rainy morning. I'd stay again.

Our stay here is very pleasant. The front desk people were very kind and helpful. They recommended great place for dinner. We also loved that they have drinking and sparkling water provided at the lobby. The room is nice and clean. A bit small but comfy and have everything we needed.
